FAQ
What is event uplighting?
Uplighting involves placing lights near floor level and directing them upward onto walls, columns, backdrops or decorative features. It adds depth and atmosphere while drawing attention to the areas you want guests to notice.
Can I rent the uplights without renting statues?
Our uplights are available exclusively as an add-on to statue rentals, with a minimum statue rental spend of $500. Once that minimum is met, there is no limit on the number of uplights you can rent, subject to availability.
Do these LED uplights need to stay plugged in?
The lights are battery-powered, allowing them to operate without a power cable connected during use. This gives you greater flexibility when lighting entrances, backdrops and statue displays.
How long do the battery-powered uplights stay on?
Estimated runtime is approximately 6–20 hours per charge, based on comparable uplights, and varies with the colour, brightness and effects selected. Runtime for our fixtures and your chosen settings must be confirmed when booking. Share your event duration so we can plan the lighting accordingly.
Can I use the uplights with statues and event props?
Absolutely! Give your statues their moment in the spotlight by positioning uplights around the display or illuminating the backdrop behind them. They work beautifully with themed entrances, photo areas and decorative scenes.
Do the lights have remote controls?
Yes. Remote controls allow you to adjust the lights conveniently. Let us know the look you want to achieve so we can confirm the available settings and help plan your setup.
How many uplights do I need?
The number depends on your venue size, layout and the effect you want. A few lights can highlight a backdrop or statue display, while a larger arrangement can carry the atmosphere around the room. Send us venue photos or a floor plan for a recommendation.
Can the lights be used outdoors?
Yes! Our battery-powered LED uplights can be used outdoors to illuminate entrances, outdoor event spaces and decorative displays. Outdoor use requires an additional waterproof cover to protect each light, and an additional fee applies. Let us know your plans when requesting a quote so we can include the required covers and applicable fee.
Where can I rent battery-powered LED uplights?
Luxury Statues offers LED uplight rentals alongside qualifying statue bookings for events in Toronto, the GTA, Niagara and across Ontario. Complete your Toronto event rentals package with lighting that complements your statues, themed props and photo displays.
Do you offer delivery, setup and customer pickup?
Luxury Statues offers delivery, setup and post-event teardown. Pricing depends on the order, event location and delivery requirements. Customer pickup is also available at no additional charge. Your quote will outline the rental and any applicable delivery, setup and teardown costs before you book.
